AT500 is a 40 micron aluminum tape, coated on one side with a pressure-sensitive acrylic dispersion adhesive and laminated with a polyethylene coated release paper.

This tape is both flame-retardant and self-extinguishing, making it particularly suitable for use in flammable areas. It complies with BS476, Parts 6 and 7, Category 1, Fire Class M1 and Class 0.

AT500 withstands very low and high temperatures (-40°C to +110°C). It is ideal for flue gas chimneys, heating pipes, and exhaust systems.

Can also be used to connect aluminum-clad insulation material and metal pipes.
